I happened to run across this article today from April of 2015 which was linked off of the Drudge Report today.  It’s about Nootropics or supplements for the brain.  A little more efficiency or productivity at work or in your personal life is something that many people desire.

It was an interesting read for me not only due to the subject of the article but also because I noticed that some of the ingredients that they mentioned were popular among the folks trying this out form a large part of the contents of one nootropic that I have, which is Brain Force.

It just so happens that it’s on sale for 25% off right now at the Infowars Store which sells a variety of things including supplements.  I make no commission or profit from this vendor.  I have not been compensated for writing this post.  I am simply a happy customer.
I’ve taken 3 of these so far, on 3 separate occasions.  2 of the times were during the long 8+ hour drives I made as part of my Hurricane Matthew Evacuation.
It’s effects are not like caffeine or diet pills, or energy drinks that make you jumpy and your scalp tingle.  It’s not like some illegal things that makes you euphoric or “high”.  In my case my heart didn’t race like too much caffeine will sometimes cause and I just simply felt more alert and had higher energy levels for a longer time.  I’d say at least a good 4+ hours beginning about an hour after I took 1 pill.
The active ingredients in Brain Force are as follows:
  • Bacopa Herb Extract: Traditionally used as an important neurological tonic and cognitive enhancer in Ayruvedic medicine.
  • Alpha-GPC: A natural compound found in the brain that delivers choline, a water-soluble essential nutrient, across the brain barrier.
  • Yerba Mate Leaf Powder: Containing natural amounts of caffeine, yerba mate is also loaded with polyphenols like quercetin, as well as potassium, magnesium, and manganese.
  • Phosphatidylserine: An important chemical that is responsible for a number of important functions within the body, phosphatidylserine is particularly known for its maintenance of cell structure in the brain.
  • L-Theanine: An amino acid that is one of the key constituents of green tea, l-theanine helps transmit nerve impulses in the brain.
  • Vitamin B12:Vitamin B-12 promotes energy production through supporting the body’s natural processes of the adrenal glands, red blood cell formation, and many others.
If you are at all curious, and maybe looking for something to keep handy and use just when you need a little lift, this is an opportunity to try something new.  Consult your physician before taking any supplement, even if it’s classified by the FDA as generally recognized as safe.
