When I was growing up, my mother frequently prepared casserole dishes for family meals. Stouffer’s Grandma’s Chicken & Vegetable Rice Bake reminds me of those meals, and I suppose that’s why I think of it as an example of “comfort food”.
Preparation is pretty simple. Heat it up and then eat it up is the 2 steps. I add a little black pepper to mine for taste. I find the chicken used to be pretty good and the meat to starch ratio isn’t too skimpy.
I recommend this product for anyone who might be tired of other foods and is looking for something more homemade style in a frozen food selection.
